Carbures builds up its Board in order to allow them to branch into new international markets

The Company takes on two new financial experts, one specialising in international markets and the other in industry.

• Ignacio Foncilas, an associate of Black Toro Capital and expert in the financial processes in the American market, in which comprehensive support is offered to technological and industrial companies.

• The financial and industrial knowledge of Jordi Lainz, economist and Financial Director (CFO) of Eurofred, will provide great assistance to the company allowing them to benefit from his experience in companies in the aeronautical and automotive sectors.

Madrid, on Wednesday, 27th of May, 2015. Carbures moves forward with its commitment to improving its good corporative governing practices in order to keep pace with the consolidation process and its organic growth as well as to allow the company to adapt to the good practices of the continuous market.

The industrial technological group has strengthen the Board by taking on two new menmbers: Ignacio Foncillas, associate of Black Toro Capital, and Jordi Lainz, the financial director of the Catalan Industrial Group, Eurofred. Their incorporation has been approved by the Board of Directors of the Company, and it should be confirmed by the General Assembly of Shareholders on the 29th of June, a meeting which has been called today through the publication of a relevant fact.

By recruiting Foncillas, Carbures has reinforced their commitment to break further into the international financial circuits, in particular in the English Speaking market, and in concrete, North America, given the extensive experience and the clear understanding of technological and industrial companies within this market, and the apparent potential for expansion, and they are therefore committed to developing within this market.

The president of Carbures, Rafael Contreras, states that Ignacio Foncillas, associate of Black Toro, will bring to Carbures "a strategic link which will allow for the connection between a multinational company that is specialised in the production of carbon fibre pieces for cars, planes and civil works with factories in international markets such as China, the United States, Germany, Mexico or Spain, and the North American Financial Market, providing a comprehensive understanding, and a great support to companies such as ours.

With regards to Jordi Lainz, Contreras confirms that "he will bring his vast professional experience to the company, allowing them to keep up with the industrial growth, by means of effective internal organisation and management of the Company."

Foncillas, with a PhD in Law from the University of Chicago, stated today that "By joining the Board, will allow him to share his experience in the capital market of the United States to a company such as Carbures which operates in the technological and industrial sector of compostite materials, a strategic sector, which, without a doubt will provide the company with an increased potential for growth in the international market". Foncilla, who is established in New York, has a long and extensive experience in consulting, advising and international public and private transactions.

Jordi Lainz, an economist and financial director (CFO) of Eurofred, has joined Carbures as an advisor, which will allow him to bring his industrial and financial knowledge to the company due to his extensive experience in the financial sector, as a chartered accountant and internal auditor of companies within the aeronautical and auto-motive sector. Lainz confirms that "this appointment will provide an excellent opportunity for him to contribute to the development of a Company which has been established as a relevant technological industrial group in the manufacturing process of composite materials for the sectors related with mobility, such as aeronautics and automotives, as well as to help to move further in the development of the good corporative governmental practices of Carbures."
