MECA Project
Carbures Defense has carried out the project called "Competitiveness Plan for new mechanized and screen-printed processes with on-board electronics". This project has been financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the call for granting financial support to industry investment in the framework of the public policy of reindustrialization and strengthening of industrial competitiveness in 2016.
The purpose of the investment has been to create a semiautomatic production line for the manufacture of test systems. These systems are traditionally housed in racks of 19 and require a high volume of wiring and panels. This new production line allows to have in the plant of Seville the necessary machinery for the machining and marking of the panels of the test systems, as well as a system of cutting and marking of cables that allows to reduce the production times, and by , the costs of the product, being more competitive.
